Arena of Riches is a mobile game where we were given the design document to create a good user interface and experience to the mobile user from all walks of life.

  • In-charge of the UX flow of a mobile game where player are allow to customize their characters before the start of the game.

  • Conducted surveys which enabled us to know who is our target audience and different type of platform that they prefer. 

  • Select the overall game feel and color to fit the theme of the mobile game.

Research & Survey

We researched the most downloaded games which were Candy Crush Saga, Clash of Clans and Clash Royale. 

Survey was conducted to understand our target audience for mobile. 

As such, we got the result that majority of the target audience are females. This enabled us to narrow down our target audience and work towards our goal. 

Also, we did research on the different type of mobile game that has the similar game play such as Fire Emblem Heroes, X-COM and Fantasy War Tactics R. 

Other than the target audience, we conducted surveys of various kinds of platforms that users would prefer. Eventually, we came to a conclusion that our users would prefer to play games on their phone. 

Mood Board

The "feel" for the overall game and the colors that we are going for are done in the mood board. Most of the things that we chose are more roundish as it depict innocence. As for colours, we chose something which is not to girly so that male users will still be able to play this game.
